Asheville Lightning Junior Olympics Team
Coach Pantas' summer Track & Field Team. Open to soccer players and other non track athletes from ages 6 to 18 who would like to continue to develop their sprinting speed. A good way to cross train for speed by practicing with and running against track & field sprinters. Practice only and competition memberships available. Practices are 6:30- 8:00 M-W-F at UNCA outdoor track in Asheville during the months of May, June and July.

Acceleration Sports Institute
A new sports training facility located in Asheville dedicated to helping young athletes get stronger and faster. Weight training and other sport specific programs designed to enhance athletic performance. Excellent programs for high school level athletes.

IMG Academies
World class athletic performance enhancement program. Founded by Loren Seagrave, one of the pioneering experts in the world on speed development. Expensive, only for the older, serious high school level soccer player preparing for collegiate and elite levels of play.
