Soccer Speed is a program designed to teach young soccer players proper sprinting form and techniques, and to increase their sprinting speed.  Most young athletes, irregardless of their sport, have never learned to sprint properly and as a consequence, are not as fast over short distances as they could be.

Fast sprinting speed and quick reaction times  are  absolute necessities for success in soccer and without proper instruction and practice of speed development and sprinting drills, realization of a young athlete’s genetic speed potential  can never be achieved. Proper sprint form and mechanics can be learned, irregardless of an athlete’s natural ability level and ages 10 to 18 are ideal time to learn them, the younger the better.

Soccer Speed instruction covers basic sprint biomechanics and sprinting form, individual correction of major running faults, starting and reaction skills, and speed development drills specific to soccer.

A quote from Coach Jeremy Boone's website "Fitness For Soccer", one of soccer's leading experts on fitness and speed development for soccer players says it all: "There is little argument that speed is the most desired quality a player can possess in the game of soccer today." If you are sincerely interested in your athlete becoming as fast as possible over short distances, then Soccer Speed is the program in Western North Carolina that can get the job done.
